Ubicada en la costa norte del Perú, a orillas del Oceano Pacifico, en la margen derecha del río Moche con una altitud media de 34 msnm. El Congreso de la Republica le confirio el titulo de " Ciudad Benemérita y Fidelísima a la Patria", en el mes de Enero de 1822. Es considerada la cuna del Poder Judicial del Perú, ya que en el año de 1824 se fundo la primera Corte Superior de Justicia.
Trujillo is located in the Pacific Ocean, on the northern coast of Perú and on the right bank of the Moche riverwith and average altitude of 34 meters above sea level. The Congress conferred our city the title of " Meritorious and Loyal of the Motherland" in January 1822. It is considered hometown of the Peruvian Judicial Power since it was the scenario of the first Supreme Justice Court.
